Is the free plan really free?

Yes. No credit card. No trial. No expiry. Solo contractors get the full platform free forever with 50 credits/month and fair-use limits (10 jobs, 10 invoices, 10 quotes, 20 requests per month) — enough to run a slow-season book or try Fixtor on a real job.

What happens if I hit the Solo limits?

We'll tell you before you hit them. When you reach a monthly cap, Fixtor keeps everything you've already created — nothing gets lost — and you can either wait for next month's refresh or upgrade to Pro ($29/mo) to remove the caps. No surprise charges.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You can top up instantly ($9 for 100 additional credits) or wait for your monthly refresh. Nothing automated will run without credits — you'll never be surprised by a bill.

Can I downgrade?

Anytime. No penalties. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Do you charge per technician?

No per-seat fees. Every plan includes its tech slots — Solo and Pro cover 1 tech, Growth covers up to 5, Business covers up to 20. No surprise charges as your team grows within your plan.

What counts as a credit?

Credits are the unit of AI usage. One credit ≈ one meaningful AI action (drafting a text, booking a call). More complex actions (calls, briefings) cost 2–5 credits. Your balance is always visible in the app.

Can I buy more credits?

Yes. Top up at any time: $5 for 50 credits, $9 for 100 credits, $20 for 250 credits. Credits carry over month-to-month while your account is active.
